“The REV-BIZ team knows one of the greatest challenges to any startup is access to seed capital. We’re excited to partner again with PNC and leverage not only their continued financial support, but also their technical expertise during this project as we work to grow new businesses downtown,” said REV Birmingham Chief Operating Officer Elizabeth Barbaree-Tasker.

“At PNC, we look to help create financial opportunities for individuals, families and businesses,” said Brian Bucher, PNC Regional President. “It’s critical we collaborate with community-based organizations in a meaningful way, and REV Birmingham remains a great partner in that regard. Creative programming like THE BIG PITCH can help drive innovation, entrepreneurial activity and business growth in the city of Birmingham”

“The positive energy and talent this competition will foster is exactly the kind of economic growth initiative we want to support. We’re proud to not only be a part of this community, but to tell the stories of inspired innovators that are leading the growth and vitality in Birmingham,” says Matt Sharp, President of Alabama Media Group.

Protective Life and Public Radio WBHM 90.3 FM  are also sponsoring THE BIG PITCH. The Alabama Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Public Relations Council of Alabama (PRCA) and the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) Birmingham Chapter are partners in the project.
