Preview Party presented by The City of Birmingham and Alagasco is the official kick-off event for Birmingham Restaurant Week, presented by Regions Bank.
On Wednesday, August 9th Pickwick Plaza in Five Points South will be transformed into a pop-up entertainment district featuring some of Birmingham’s best restaurants serving up savory bites along with beer, wine and spirits. Enjoy live music from Eric Essex, a Sidewalk Theater featuring two food documentaries and a cook book signing from Food Network Martie Duncan all within one block.

When you purchase your ticket, you will receive a general ticket that includes 8 tasting tickets for food and drink tastings. Two pop-up bars will be on site also. Want more tasting tickets? No problem! It will be easy to purchase more at the event by visiting the Urban Food Project Booth located inside Pickwick Plaza for just $1.00 per tasting ticket.
PREVIEW PARTY FEATURES
The Tasting Room – A beverage expo featuring products from Red Diamond Coffee & Tea, Avondale Brewing Company, Alabama Crown Distributing Co. and Coopers’ Craft Bourbon. Tasting tickets can be used for beverage samples.
The Red Clay Bar – Make sure to visit our two cash pop-up bars, which will be featuring summer drink specials and cocktails.
Proceeds from tickets purchases will benefit REV Birmingham‘s Urban Food Project, which supplies fresh local produce to area restaurants and corner stores.
