We are so excited to see a new business choosing the Switch district to call home! We cannot wait to see the vibrancy they bring to this district via their events. So So Spiffy, a local staging and interior design company, is proud to announce its new retail endeavor, Shopping Shindig. This once-a-month sale will take place at their new warehouse downtown and provide curated collections of designer furniture, art, and home accessories up to 60% off.
After experiencing tremendous growth this year, owner and CEO Barbara Cooney is expanding their retail component by opening their exclusive sales to the public on the first weekend of each month. The Shopping Shindig Grand Opening will be Friday, October 1st from 12 PM to 6 PM and Saturday, October 2nd from 10 AM to 3 PM. Guests can expect a shopping experience filled with live music, food trucks, and guest artisans from the local community – how fun!
The new warehouse and office space are located at 1218 2nd Avenue North, a convenient location for locals and those visiting for the weekend. So So Spiffy is thrilled to partner with REV Birmingham as the first business to put down roots in the up-and-coming Switch District downtown.
“REV was very pleased to help Barbara locate this new building in the Switch for Spiffy! We love the entrepreneurial spirit of Spiffy and Barbara’s desire to be one of the next great attractions in the Switch in downtown and advance the momentum of the area” – REV president & CEO, David Fleming
