As REV Birmingham’s President and CEO, it is my job to cast the vision for REV and represent our goals and values to the city of Birmingham, build an impactful team delivering on the mission, and gain the resources to support our work.  As a native of the Birmingham area, I have a deep love for our city, its history, and its promise.  I want REV to be a driver of authentic growth in our urban core so that our region is attractive to people around the nation and the world.

> What is your proudest professional achievement?

Going against the normal flow that keeps efforts and resources separated and merging Operation New Birmingham and Main Street Birmingham into one more effective place-focused revitalization organization, followed by taking responsibility for a third, the City Center District Management Corporation.

> What is your favorite thing to do downtown?

I like to attend concerts and cultural events in historic downtown places, like a movie at the Alabama Theatre or an Evensong at the Cathedral Church of the Advent.
