I am REV’s Woodlawn District Manager, which means I work directly with the Woodlawn community, specifically the commercial district. With the community leading my work in Woodlawn, I work toward equitable entrepreneurship and creative placemaking in this dynamic and thriving neighborhood.

You will find me out and about on the streets in Woodlawn connecting to property and businesses owners as well as collaborating with the rest of REV’s staff as we continue to create vibrant commercial districts in Birmingham. The Magic City is both a beautiful, conflicted urban landscape, and I am passionate about contributing to its thriving future.

> What is your favorite coffee spot in the Magic City?

There is so much great coffee in Birmingham! I can’t choose just one. I love Punch Love for the neighborhood, community vibe, Cala Coffee or Filter if I want to get some work done, or June Coffee for meeting friends.

> What is your favorite place in the world?

The Great Smoky Mountain National Park! Specifically, sunrises at the summit of Mt. LeConte. This park was my childhood playground, and I still go several times a year to camp and explore. My husband and I took our daughters for their first trip not long ago and I can’t wait to spend many more weeks sharing the park with them.
